I found the animation and the style very original, I liked them a lot.
I also have to admit that it made me laugh a little.

Really good work!
(Sorry for my bad English)

A pretty interesting claymation. Although I must say that it's also a bit depressing (especially for the description). I felt bad for that poor man.

The animation was quite fluid, I liked it a lot. Good work!
Sorry for my bad English.

I loved the design of those puppets, it's so original!

And considering that I love puppets and these ones are very well made; for me this takes a 5.
Really good job!

Excellent work with this short film!

The animation is super fluid, the art is just great and the story is very touching.
You and your collaborators could easily make an animated series.

I have nothing else to say. You definitely deserve that recognition from ToonBoom. Also, I'm sorry about your grandfather; I know how it feels to lose a family member. I send you my deepest condolences.

Sorry for my bad English.

I give you 4 stars for making me laugh at the end! XD

A decently fluent animation, but I am a bit uncomfortable with the lack of audio (for a moment I thought my speakers were muted).

Good job!

Thanks a lot for watching the video for your rating and your comment which will help me to improve.
Yes i agree about the sound, next episode i'll add some environment noises ;)

Once again thanks for your time ! ;)

It's really annoying when that happens...
The animation was very strange, but quite original.

Needless to say, I laughted a lot.
Good work.

I did not understand anything...
The animation... Meh, it was not bad; I've seen worse. I liked the cat-man design.
I don't know why, but the voice reminds me of the Spongebob narrator.

For the effort I will give you 3.5
Sorry for the bad English.

Wow... The animation is too fluid in this one, it really seems that the characters are alive. It must have taken you a long time to make this work of art.

It's a shame that I can only give you 5 stars. You did a great job! Sorry for my bad English.

W-Halford responds:

Thank you :) That's very kind of you to say.

I felt sorry for the poor alien...

The animation was quite good and I liked the design of the characters.
I got a bit of a laugh at the end.

Good work.

Animation-S responds:

yay! I like making people smile or laugh. hehe :)

First of all, I can't believe you when you say this is your first animation. I have seen several animations from beginners in MC-style, and the truth is that yours is considerably more fluid compared to others... When I say this, I am saying it in a good way; In a few words, you did the animation really well :)

I put you 3 stars because at the beginning you can see the sprites background, and that can be a bit confusing. Also, be careful with this because they can believe you actually stole it; believe it or not I have seen some cases.

I also did not understand what was going on XD
What was the Smith doing at the beginning? Does the protagonist (the Grunt) have mental powers? I swear that it looks like he's controlling the Smith.

The animation is a little stuck, although I don't know if this is due to my Web Browser or something else.

In conclusion, very well done for being your first animation. I feel that with much practice and effort you will become a very good animator.

Sorry for my bad English.

SonSpook responds:

Yeah, it's true. This isn't my first animation. I started about a year ago on Scratch, a web sight where you can program your own games and animations. I started there, but I lost interest as soon as I found interest in stick figure battle animations.

I then transferred to Pivot animator, where I made a few crappy stick figure fights. Afterwards, I found a better stick figure animating program called Macromedia Flash, the one I used to make this animation. I made my first stick battle and continued on with my second. At this point, I had never shared my flash or pivot animations, as they were way too bad.

But one day, my brother (sadly, doesn't have a newgrounds account) was talking with one of his friends form scratch (my brother is a really popular scratcher) and saw he was into Madness.

My brother eventually told me about Madness, and watched all 10 episodes in one night. A few weeks later, my brother's scratch friend made a madness animation himself and gave my brother the fluidium sprite sheets (my bro also had flash).

I eventually got a hold of the sprites too, and made my first madness fan animation. I hadn't named it yet, and I didn't finish it either. I eventually got bored of the concept and moved on to make Madness Delirium. So yes, I have had past animating experience. This is just the first one I have made public.

And thank's so much for the advice, and I will take it to heart while making my next animation C:

Hi! Just a random brony here. I like to draw and create other kind of stuff and also I love to see and play content created by others; I hope I can contribute a lot on this site! What else? Oh yeah! My english suck... :( That is all :D
